I feel that these two (verse + Meraki) goes well together. Being a creative myself I find that you gotta put your heart, soul and love into the things that you do. That being said, it’s different I feel between creative for worship and doing creative work for clients. When we give our very best to God in worship creatively, the final results is that one will be refreshed and that you will feel “full”. Creative work for clients on the other hand needs to balance out between putting your heart and soul into it but being able to draw a line so that you don’t lose yourself.
It’s no easy thing to find that balance but if you learn to make the decision daily and on every project, you’ll find your rhythm and you’ll know when it’s okay and when you are about to lose yourself.
