I’m a kreativ spektrum + influencer of truth.

Through the many experiences and seasons of life, I’ve come to understand myself a little bit more. I no longer want to limit myself to just being 1 kind of creative but a spectrum as many aspects of being creative impact my day-to-day life. Even tho I am a self-taught graphic designer who's been in the industry for 18 years and counting; I’ve discovered that my love for design deepens each year and it catapults me to a greater understanding of many things in life.

That being said, in all of these, the foundation that I’ve had in my faith has been the solid rock on which I stand and that has carried me through these many years.

Hence it is a desire of mine to tell stories from my perspectives through words + designs. As I am made up of many stories and to be able to share my perspective in life through creativity breathes life into me.

i’ve elvove + changed

because of my experiences in life. Hence, that’s the reason for changing the vibe to my logo.

my brand identity

I wanted to go along the lines of being approachable with a tint of human touch but at the same time keeping the logo as it was before;that is of a minimalistic concept with the usage of lines and triangles. I decided the best way to do this was to change the colour scheme for the logo. Also after a period of soul searching I’ve decided to remove the tagline of “Passionate, Dreamer & Creative” and to call myself a “Creative Spectrum” or “Kreativ Spektrum” which is a much better representation of me at this present moment and moving forward in life.

As for the logo, I drew inspiration for this project from my obsession with minimalistic designs and the elements of shapes specifically triangles & lines. Throughout the years, I've design many things but yet right across it, there will always be 2 elements that stood out especially for my best works. It is minimalistic designs and the elements of shapes. This became the foundation for the whole logo. The line cut was to give it an edge to the overall look & having just an E was enough to lead people to my name.

brands under me

854 Studio

“ The idea was to create a logo that stood the test of time that’s visually edgy and that brings studio’s vision to life.” - with that in mind, the font “F37 Bella” was picked together with the ever so elegant and timeless, black & white colours to bring the elements to life.  The cuts to the number at the side portray the edginess of the studio and the collision that happens when dreams and passion turn into reality.

muffin’s garden

One of the things that I picked up during the start of the pandemic back in 2020 was gardening. As a person who loves growth coupled with progress and processes, I wanted to learn something new and have fun documenting my journey and hence Muffin’ s

Garden was born. The name Muffin is actually my little pup that’s always curious with what I am doing at the garden. I decided to use

her name and also the icon for the logo. The icon is an actual drawing of her. Our brand tone and vibe lends toward being fun with a human touch and that of nature.

the kollektiv

The Kollektiv is a seed brand that I had in mind for future usage with the idea of bringing creatives, experiences and stories together. The plan was to create a line of merchandise surrounding the logo and then some.

seasons

I started working at the young ripe age of 21 and it has in many ways shaped me in my pov, especially in the areas of creativity + leadership. Here’s a summary of the different seasons of my work life from then till now. Enjoy!

how it started - skyline sib

It started with “hey, we are looking for someone to fill in a position, would you be interested?” and the rest is history as many would say.

Up to this day, I still keep a close relationship with them and they have become one of my ongoing clients to which I lend support for the different seasons and needs of the office and church-wide graphic needs.

midway through - 854 studio

I decided to start my graphic design studio in 2015; 854 Studio. Birthed out of the necessity of not having a place that I could find to apply to at that time, I thought why not start my own since I have a couple of existing clients to work with.

I love the ability to create something that was once a dream in someone’s heart or that was once only an idea. For me to be able to bring it to reality makes creating and being a creative; a life-long pursuit that is worth going for.
